Tourism Today is Orchard Road, Singapore

Orchard Road Area is the area where the high-class hotels predominate. It is also the domain of Singapore's elite, who is lured by the shopping centers, nightspots, restaurants, bars and lounges. A showcase for the material delights of capitalism, Orchard Road also possesses some sights of cultural interest where a credit card is not required. Orchard Road is split into the upper and lower Orchard Road.

Lower Orchard Road covers more idyllic places than upper Orchard Road. Here you can take a look at fascinating spots such as Emerald Hill, which used to be a jungle but now full of neoclassical buildings designed under Chinese architecture; Dhoby Ghaut , a pedestrian walkway; Tan Yeok Nee Masion, a classical Chinese mansion built in 1885; Chesed-El Synagogue constructed in 1905; Church of the Sacred Heart built in 1910 in the French style; and C hettiar Hindu Temple , a rich Hindu temple and a terminus of Taipusam festival held annually.

Upper Orchard Road is the site of more urban than the Lower Orchard Road. Many hotels are located here such as the Mandarin Hotel, which is ranked a 5 stars hotel; Marriot Hotel , 33-story hotel that is capped with a Chinese roof; Good Wood Park Hotel , constructed in 1900 for Singapore's German resident to gather and sing national songs but then it kept converted to serve other purposes until it was gazette a National Monument in 1989 and rated as a best hotel in the world by Harpers.

Tourism Today is Sipadan Island, Sabah

The late Jacques Cousteau, the world-renowned oceanographer, described Sipadan Island as ‘an untouched piece of art’, while divers around the world voted it as one of the top five dive sites in the world.

Malaysia’s only oceanic island, it is very small – only 12ha. in size. A 25-minute walk is all that is required to circle the island on foot. As an oceanic island, it rises about 700 metres from the sea floor, attracting diverse marine life from the blackness of the open sea. Surrounded by crystal clear waters, this crown jewel is a treasure trove of some of the most amazing marine animals.

Declared a bird sanctuary in 1933 by the Colonial Government of North Borneo and re-gazetted in 1963 by the Malaysian Government, the dense vegetation on Sipadan Island supports a large variety of tropical birds which include sea eagles, kingfishers, sunbirds, starlings and wood pigeons. Exotic crustaceans including the amazing coconut crab roam the beaches and scurry among the undergrowth.

When diving here, encounters with turtles, resident schools of jacks, bumphead parrotfish and barracudas are almost assured around the tiny coral island.

myself berkata: mari-mari kita bercuti ke pulau sipadan...panorama dan pengalaman yang xmungkin dilupakan
